mobile365 and Starlink have teamed together providing satellite-to-mobile service in remote areas where tower signals can't reach.

About mobile365 Starlink satellite phone service

Stay connected in places never thought possible with mobile365 Starlink – the largest satellite-to-mobile network in the world. Starlink direct-to-cell satellites complement the existing mobile365 network by acting as cell towers in space. This allows you to stay connected even when you are outside of the range of a cell tower. So, there’s no need for new apps or interfaces. It just works.

mobile365 Starlink is launching with text via satellite – with the plan for voice and data to be added in the future.

Be among the first to experience our beta - at no extra cost - and shape a new era in connectivity.

Using mobile365 Starlink on your device

mobile365 Starlink currently supports sending and receiving text messages, location sharing and texting 911 emergency services while connected to Starlink's satellites, with plans to pursue voice and data coverage next. During the beta test, the mobile365 Starlink services will only be available while in the US. This service will not work internationally at this time.

How do I connect?

When you are in an area without traditional or roaming cellular services, your satellite-optimized device will automatically connect to the mobile365 Starlink network if you are part of the mobile365 Starlink beta. Manually selecting the mobile365 Starlink network will not work while other cellular connection options are available. When connected to mobile365 Starlink, your device will display mobile365 SpaceX at the top-left side of your screen.

Send a text message

To send a text message while connected to mobile365 Starlink, just send a text as you normally would from your device.

  • Text messages may take longer than normal to be sent while connected to the mobile365 Starlink satellite network.
  • Picture and video messaging is not included during the beta phase.
  • You can still send a text to 911 emergency services. Simply enter ‘911’ in the recipient field and send a message to get connected to an emergency operator.
  • When texting with 911, your location is automatically sent to ensure that first responders can quickly and accurately locate you, in case rescue is needed.
    • Calls made to 911 emergency services, will scan for an available network to complete the call.  If no networks are available, you'll be redirected to use Starlink's satellite emergency messaging service.

Location Sharing

Android OS

  • Open the Google Messages app.
